Mr. and Mrs. Parodi were married at The Siena Chapel on Saturday May 24, 2009, with a reception that followed at The Desmond. After their wedding, Kathleen and John traveled to Ireland to have their marriage blessed and for their honeymoon.
A little information about that fabulous bird cage veil: The top part of the headpiece was made with lace from Kathleen's mothers wedding dress, as well as flowers and netting from her parents cake topper and in the center, was a carved ivory bead from Kathleen's maternal great-grandmother's rosary. In Kathleen's words: "It was my something old and it was so very special to me as I am so proud of the strong wonderful women who have come before me."
Kathleen and John: "I wish you much happiness in your marriage. Thank you for having me be a part of your wedding day."

Kathleen with her parents, reflecting on their own wedding day, 55 years ago...
Kris Ann of Fleurtacious Designs rocked the bouquet, beautiful!
Kathleen and her father are very close...I love this moment between them before the ceremony...
That moment right after the kiss!
Kathleen is an equestrian and loves her horses. So of course, there was a horse drawn carriage!
Love that light!
The flowers were gorgeous! Lily of the valley, one of my favorites...
One of my favorites images of the whole day....
Kathleen and John laughing at me for my obsession with "finding the light" But as you can see, we found it!

Gorgeous!! The one of the bride with her parents looking at their wedding album...so sweet!
lol! the comment about finding the light is so funny. I was just doing that on my last engagement sitting and they were laughing at me too! although I was doing a very funny "hunting for light" walk.
